Award-winning production company seeking drag performers of all ages and styles. Our project takes place in the world of Boston drag and mixes documentary with scripted scenes. This piece would explore what goes into the art of drag, examining the makeup techniques and costume design, and the personal stories behind the performances.

For the documentary scenes: we want to see your process. How you craft each look. We want to interview you and hear your story.

For the scripted scenes: you would portray one of the following:

THE NEWCOMER

20s, eager to perform in drag but unsure where to begin, trying to put the pieces together from various online tutorials. You persevere, and the piece culminates with your successful onstage debut.

THE PROS

Experienced queens looking to support The Newcomer and welcome her into the fold– but not without throwing some shade.
