Dear Diary Casting

Roles are as follows:

Roonie (F, late 20s- early 30′s): A groovy, cheerful, fun and optimistic narcotics anonymous sponsor. Has been through the ringer multiple times, only to learn from each of her relapses. Has been sober for years now and has found slam poetry as her salvation. Leads with her heart instead of her head. An organized mess. Drives passionately and always looking for new opportunity – prematurely over working her self.

Maya (F, mid 50′s): A very proper and traditional narcotics anonymous sponsor and esteemed poet. Roonie’s sponsor. Cares about her public image. Comes from the cult like and judgmental era of Narcotics Anonymous. Cares passionately about the NA program but is skeptical about members that do not fit her viewpoint.

Lynne Wiscuitt (F, mid 20′s – early 30′s): All American and beautiful. Filled with spunk and an enchanting charisma
